Monthly Rose Circle Guidelines
Version 1 · September 2026
The Circle is a place for people going through periods, trying to conceive, pregnancy and life after birth to talk to each other. To keep it clean and trustworthy, please read and agree to the following before you post.
1. What's welcome
- Your own real experiences and feelings;
- Questions, asking for comfort, cheering each other on;
- Things that help you — say why they help. No purchase links or contact details.
2. What's not allowed
- Ads and solicitation: contact details, links, group invites, reselling, paid reviews;
- Illegal content, including surrogacy brokering, buying or selling eggs, fetal sex selection services, and trading prescription or abortion medication;
- Sexual content, insults, personal attacks, discrimination or baiting;
- Other people's private information: names, phone numbers, addresses, medical records, chat logs, identifiable photos;
- Pretending to be a doctor, pretending to be staff, or marketing disguised as an ordinary user;
- Advice that could hurt someone: specific drug names with doses, folk remedies, telling people not to see a doctor, extreme dieting or purging;
- Politics, and anything unrelated to this community.
3. About health information
Posts here are personal experiences, not medical advice, and no substitute for a doctor's opinion. Bodies differ; what worked for someone else may not suit you. If something worries you — unusual bleeding, fever, severe pain, clearly reduced fetal movement — go to a hospital.
4. If you're struggling right now
If you're thinking about hurting yourself, please reach out to someone near you or call a helpline right away (US & Canada: 988; elsewhere: your local emergency number). Posts that mention self-harm are not shown publicly; the app will show you ways to get help, and you can also talk to Rosie in the Talk tab. You are not alone.
5. Moderation, reporting and blocking
- Every post is checked automatically, and clear violations can't be posted; we also review content by hand and remove what breaks the rules. A small number of posts need a person to look at them before they appear;
- You can report any post or comment, and block anyone so you no longer see what they write. Content reported by several people is hidden until a person reviews it;
- Content that breaks these guidelines is not shown or is removed; serious or repeated violations lead to muting or losing access to the Circle;
- To appeal a decision or report infringing or illegal content: jubao@iyunci.cn.
6. Your identity and privacy
- Only the nickname and avatar you choose are shown. Your phone number, the third-party account you sign in with and cycle records are never shown and never uploaded with a post;
- Stage tags such as "29 weeks pregnant" appear only if you tick them when posting;
- Regulations in mainland China require a verified phone number before posting in the Chinese-language Circle. Only we can see it; other users can't;
- Location and other metadata are removed from photos before posting. Please don't post photos that identify you or anyone else;
- You can delete your posts and comments at any time; they disappear immediately, and the backup record required by regulation is erased after 60 days. Deleting your account deletes everything you posted.
7. The official account and AI
- "Monthly Rose Team" is our official account and carries an "Official" badge. We run no other accounts in the Circle — we don't pad it with fake users or fake posts;
- Official posts written with AI assistance are labelled "AI-assisted" and are reviewed by a person before publishing;
- Automatic moderation uses AI: your post is sent to a large language model service we engage to judge whether it breaks the rules, without any information identifying you.
8. Daily question
Votes on the daily question are anonymous: the server only adds up the count for each option and does not record who chose what. Percentages aren't shown until enough people have taken part.
9. Changes
When these guidelines change in an important way, we'll ask you to confirm them again before your next post.
